Pneumatically Operated Ammunition Linking Machines The LM is designed for maximum operational simplicity and reliability, as well as minimal maintenance. The following models are available "off the shelf". LM 02 – 5.56 mm LM 03 – 7.62 mm (NATO) LM 05 – 12.7 mm Other models can be supplied to meet customer's specifications. Function: Linking with M1, M13, M9, M15A2 and other metal links and cotton belts. Description: This compact, space-effective machine operates pneumatically. The two Ammunition tracks and one link track are manually fed. Approximate linking speed is 60-70 rounds per minute. The LM is equipped with mechanical selector and programmer units which enable preset combinations of two different ammunition type at ratios of: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4, 1:5, 2:2, 2:3, 2:4, 3:3 etc., as well as automatic selection of belt length. Precision construction ensures dependable linkage while a special safety device eliminates the risk of accidental firing at any stage of operation. Power Requirements: Air pressure of 6 Atm. (90 Psi), air supply at capacity of 520 lit/min. Optional: 1. Automatic feeding of bullets from bulk. 2. Linking of various type of bullets – tracers, regular, armour piercing – with manual     or automatic feeding in cycles. 3. One track linking machine with or without automatic selection of belt length. 4. P.L.C. preprogramming instead of the mechanical selector and programmer.
